Week 38/52 {Vintage}

This weeks them is “vintage.”  I enjoy looking at vintage photos and thought it would be fun to try to create a photo that looks vintage.  I was inspired by photos that I’ve seen from my Mom’s childhood in the 50′s.  For added effect I followed this tutorial to add some scratches and dust.

Next check out the lovely work of photographer Nicole Lubin of Baltimore, Maryland and see her “vintage” photo!

Week 34/52 {Brave}

Is it “brave” or is it actually foolish!?  Ever since my son was about 6 months old he has been a thrill seeker!  He loves a close call.  He learned how to walk by getting in as many steps as he could before falling, even as he was falling.  His new trick is riding “no handed”.  Disclaimer:  I wish he had a helmet on here….and shoes.  He always wears a helmet when he leaves the yard on his bike and it would have been a good very good idea for him to have one on for this too.

I forgot to sign up for the blog circle this week, but if you want to check it out, it starts with Amy Craft, San Antonio, Texas Photographer.

Week 31/52 {Alone}

The theme this week is “alone.”  This one is from the archives.  While we were visiting my husband’s aunt and uncle, M. was so excited to see so many flowers that she ran ahead on her own.  Next in the blog circle is Jenn Duguay, Valleyview, Alberta Photographer.  Check out her lovely work and her “alone” photo!

Week 30/52 {Time} Downtown Chippewa Falls

Time flies!!  I went out on a “date” tonight with my son and took these photos.  I’m so glad I have these  because he is growing SO fast!!  The time might come when he doesn’t want to go on a “date” with his mom… or even when he’d rather not pose in front of flowers.

The time will come when his other front tooth grows in and then he’ll look more grown up.

For now though, he’s still little….  :)

Next please head over to the blog of the talented Liza Hall to see her interpretation of this weeks theme:  time!

Week 28/52 {SUMMER}

Aww… summer!

Next, please head over to the blog of the lovely Amy Mae, Nampa Idaho Photographer to see her photos of summer!
