This week’s theme is metallic.  I just got back from a wonderful vacation in Door County, WI.  When the sun is shining on Lake Michigan the water almost looks metallic.  On a related note, water shots look great printed on metallic photo paper!   Next in the circle is Cassie.  Please check out her metallic themed photo here!

These photos were taken with a 25 second shutter speed.  I love the colors in them.  It was extremely dark when I took these so it was really fun to see how they turned out!  I can’t wait to get out in the country or to a big lake to take more photos of the stars!

This weeks theme is “darkness”.  I’ve always thought that the branches on this tree look a little spooky without their huge leaves.  I actually had to wait for a little bit of light to take this photo this morning, last night was so dark, cloudy and cold.  Only 28 degrees this morning at seven.  Winter is coming!
